Lionsgate’s Hunger Games prequel The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes has secured an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA a little over two weeks before its release in North America and many international markets. The agreement will allow the cast to promote the film before its release in the US on November 17 through Lionsagate and in major markets such as the UK, France, and Germany on November 15, 16, and 17. The prequel cast includes Rachel Zegler, Tom Blyth, Hunter Schafer and Josh Andres Rivera. Jason Schwartzman, Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage and Hunter Schafer are also part of the ensemble. series, is 64 years prior to the original teen-centric action-adventure movies. It is directed by Francis Lawrence who also directed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th franchise entries. The new film is released eight years after the previous franchise installment, The Hunger Games – Mockinjay Part 2. The film had the lowest worldwide gross of the franchise to date, but it still managed to earn $281.7m dollars in North America, and $371.7m dollars in the international market, for a total of $653.40 million dollars.
