UK projects will be the focus of this year’s Locarno Pro’s First Look, the works-in-progress strand of Locarno Film Festival’s (August 2-12) industry programme.

In partnership the British Film Institute (BFI), six UK post-production projects will be presented to buyers, programmers, and representatives from post production funds.

The First Look program will be held August 4-6. Pitch sessions will be held both in person at Locarno as well as online. Producers can apply via the BFI by submitting a rough cut of at least 60 minutes at any stage in post-productions.

Applications are now open and will close April 28.

This is the 12th edition of Locarno Pro’s First Look. The strand has previously spotlighted works from Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Israel, Poland, the Baltic countries, Portugal, Serbia, Switzerland and Germany.
