Neon brings ‘Anora,’ Sean Baker’s new album to North America

Neon has acquired the North American rights to Anora, the upcoming romantic dramedy from writer-director Sean Baker.

FilmNation Entertainment is handling worldwide rights to the film and has licensed the project to Le Pacte in France, Lev in Israel, Kismet in Australia and New Zealand and Focus Features/Universal Pictures International for the rest of the world.

Neon plans to release the film in 2024. The plot has yet to be revealed. The project was shot in Brooklyn in the first half of this year, and is currently in postproduction. Baker, Samantha Quan, Alex Coco, and Mark Eydelshteyn produce. Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn and Yuriy Borosov star. Karren Karagulian, Vache Tovmasyan and Mark Eydelshteyn are the stars.
