Neon’s new sales division led by Kristen Figeroid is launching worldwide sales at AFM this week on They Follow, David Robert Mitchell’s sequel to his 2014 cult horror It Follows, with Maika Monroe reprising her role.
Monroe returns as Jay Height, who in the original survived a supernatural curse transmitted by sexual contact. Tom Quinn, CEO of Neon, distributed the film as he led RADiUS. It grossed $15m in North America. The plot details are still under wraps. Mitchell is a producer for Jake Weiner, Chris Bender, David Kaplan and Erik Rommesmo of Good Fear Content. They are also the original producers of
Origin that Neon will release on December 8, 2010.
It Follows was his second feature, and he wrote and produced comedy-mystery Under The Silver Lake
