Premiere Entertainment Group (PEG) has acquired worldwide rights to Taken From Rio Bravo and will offer the action western at the Cannes market.
The film is a sequel to recent US release Gunfight at Rio Bravo and once again stars bodybuilder and former Mr Universe Alexander Nevsky. Nevsky plays a Russian gunslinger, who teams up with the sheriff to pursue a gang human traffickers.
Joe Cornet, Cynthia Rothrock Irina Antonenko Matthias Hues Tatiana Neva, Don ‘The Dragon” Wilson, and Joe Cornet are also in the cast. Joe Cornet directed the film, based on a screenplay by Craig Hamann.
Nevsky was the producer for Hollywood Storm, and Eric Brenner and Cornet were the executive producers for ETA Films.
